It’s being reported that a discovery of both horse meat and human meat has been discovered. The discovery extends beyond the freezers and to actual trucks which were en route to restaurants. Since the discovery, it appears as authorities have been on red alert, raiding factories all across the country and initial reports are putting a human meat finding at 90%. While the discovery of horse meat is at 65% of all locations searched thus far.

The findings are especially troubling as a official involved in the investigation has been quoted as saying, “The worst part is that it’s not only human meat, it’s child meat. The body parts were found across the US factories and were deemed too small to be adult body parts. This is truly horrible”.

While the practice of cannibalism is horrific, it has existed throughout history, though it is generally not associated as being practiced in modern day. The practice took place tens of thousands of years ago, and it appears now as some very important questions need to be answered in regards to our consumption of fast food hamburgers and it’s relation to human meat consumption. Authorities are working to piece together the puzzle on just how this meat has become present within the industry, where it came from and the conditions at which it was procured, with an emphasis on whether the source meat was previously deceased or in fact, hunted.
