A Mexican Drug Lord’s House Was Raided. What They Found Left Me Speechless.
The TV show “Breaking Bad” had such a good hook to it as the story revolved around a teacher turned meth dealer. Here’s another great story angle, only this one is actually real, supporting the old saying that the truth is often times stranger than fiction. Here are pictures that the police found during a raid in Mexico City on a drug lord’s property. It’s a true story as verified by the Mexican Attorney General’s office and even validated by Snopes. Yet it is still very hard to believe as you will see below.
A matching pair of these were found. Yes, that’s a solid gold Virgin Mary.
.357 Magnum semi-automatics with solid gold grips.
This drug lord had a larger gun collection than most museums.
Just a quaint little villa in the hills, bought with drug money.
A man-made grotto with a hot tub…
The back yard pool.
A collection of exotic animals – like these black jaguars.
8 Lions were found on the property. Yup, just eight.
A rare white tiger.
Exotic art collection – some of which was illegal to own – some stolen.
More guns than you could ever imagine!
This unbelievably huge pile of cash, estimated to be worth over $200 million.
Guns were hidden all over the house, along with ample ammo, just in case.
Stacks of cash were found in every possible nook and cranny.
All in $100 bills. Drug lords don’t mess around with less.
Another cabinet stack tight with cash.
And… another one.
Cash in other currencies was found as well. At least he didn’t discriminate.
